WE NEED YOUR HELP BY CHRISTMAS 2021 TO "RAISE THE ROOF" OF BOLESKINE HOUSE!

Six years ago, above the shore of Loch Ness in Inverness, Scotland, fire ripped through Boleskine House, devastating both the home, and the thousands of people around the world who view the estate as sacred ground. Four years later, just after the estate changed ownership, another fire blazed through the ruins of Boleskine, completely destroying what little was left of the roof. This time, it was arson.

BOLESKINE HOUSE IS RISING FROM THE ASHES

Since the last fire, The Boleskine House Foundation has been THE beacon of hope for the future of the historic Scottish manor, transforming ruins into revitalisation with "hard hats, high vis, and hard work."

The Foundation, its volunteers, and contractors have...

installed security on the property
cleared tonnes of scorched rubble and debris
restored the chimney
rebuilt walls
repaired windows
fixed the driveway
recrafted pillars
brought order and beauty back to the grounds

...and so much more! All work is being carried out by experts in traditional heritage masonry, carpentry, and forging, and with an eye toward restoring the building to its original Georgian glory.

And there is still so much more work to do on this multi-year project.

THE NEXT PHASE: A NEW ROOF FOR BOLESKINE!

This is where YOU come in.

The Foundation is finally ready for the next phase of reconstruction, and we need your help to make it happen! With a contract signed and a building warrant in hand, for the first time in SIX YEARS, Boleskine House will have a new roof, and it will be done by CHRISTMAS!

We hope you are as thrilled as we are that this important milestone is only months away! A new roof will mean that the building will be protected from further damage over the long winter. The site will also be far safer for visitors, allowing us to hold the on-site events that we have been planning over the last year!

Every penny that we raise through this campaign will go toward funding the work to install the roof. Even a £25 donation will help us get closer to reaching this important restoration milestone.
