Raise funds for IPO children's hospital Lisbon.

A few months ago, over several beverages, my running buddy Alison O’Neill convinced me to run the Lisbon Marathon. She had previously been coerced to do the marathon by her friends Jenny Weldon and Sandra Brennan. Since then, we have all been training hard, in Portugal and Ireland and we have less than 2 weeks to go until the big day. This is our first and (quite possibly our last) marathon and since we will be running 42km, we decided we should do it for a worthy cause. We chose IPO Lisboa, a children’s cancer hospital that is very close to our heart. The money collected will go directly to the children’s cancer ward. Any donations will be greatly appreciated by us, the children, the hospital, and most of all will help us get over the finish line.
