Rainier 11 th Grade College Trip

Donation protected

Summit Rainier High School in East San Jose, California has traditionally planned a road trip to visit several colleges for the entire 11 th grade class, as a way of exposing students to different college environments. Approximately 35% of Summit Rainier students are the first in their families to attend college, with up to 47% from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. We have a total of 120 juniors and adult chaperones planning to go on March 13 - 15, 2018. Our trip will take us to six Southern and Central California colleges. Please help us! We are raising funds to pay for one
more bus, bus drivers, and lodging expenses. Our goal is to raise $7,000!

Summit Rainier is part of the Summit Public Schools. Summit Rainier’s mission is to prepare a diverse population of students for college and career. Historically 100% of Summit Rainier’s graduates are accepted to four-year colleges or universities.
Our 11 th grade college trip is essential for shaping a college-going mindset. We ask for a donation to change our lives and the lives of our loved ones. Any amount is welcomed and much appreciated.

We are hoping to reach our target by Monday, February 19th.
