RAHS ILS Garden Fundraiser

For several years now the ILS garden area has been neglected, not allowing the ILS students to get the most use out of the garden space. For my Senior Civitas project I have chosen to take on this project, and with your donations I can give the ILS students the proper garden space that they deserve with wheelchair friendly pathways and garden boxes, self watering garden box abilities and so much more. My goal is at least $800 to get the bare necessities such as garden boxes, a watering system, and with any leftover money the decomposed granite pathway. If the goal of $800 is surpassed I would love to extend the pathway as well as putting wheelchair friendly picnic tables, a new shed and even turf.

The price breakdown:
- 4 Wheelchair friendly raised garden boxes made out of redwood construction heart 2 from Home Depot= $384 for the four boxes
- metal lath screens (⅛ of an inch)= $47.20 for inside each of the four garden boxes
- landscaping material for inside the garden boxes= $105.92 for inside each of the four garden boxes 
- Crushed stone aka decomposed granite (DG)= $69 a yard
