Save Sick French Bulldogs

GUT WRENCHING TRIPS:
We saved 16 French Bulldogs in 6 months from substandard kennels and need your help to save more.  I am just one woman with one amazing friend rescuing sick commercial breeding dogs.  I need ongoing support to continue rescue missions and heal the sick.  Susan and I will forever be broken by our trips. We will never be able to forget the nauseating smell and sight of hundreds of suffering dogs covered in feces and urine and living on nothing but metal wire. The desperate barks and cries of the innocent begging for help pierce your heart and soul. Even though the dogs lost all hope, they find the energy and spirit to come up to you and ask to be saved. Because of this experience, I will devote most of Rags To Royals to transforming these ragged Frenchies into royalty!

Every substandard kennel dog has gone through hell and needs immediate medical attention.  The ones we saved have suffered from giardia, coccidia, parvo, roundworms, and other parasites.  All of the dogs need medications, vaccines and spay/neuter surgery.  Some need additional surgeries, like leg surgery for luxating patellas and Vulvoplasty surgery for chronic bladder infections.  Freeing and treating these Bulldogs is very expensive.

WHAT IS A SUBSTANDARD KENNEL?
A substandard kennel is more concerned with making a profit than the well-being and love of dogs.  There is a misconception that substandard kennels house hundreds of dogs, but they can house just a small group.  The moms are merely machines who are forced to be pregnant over and over again with barely any recovery time in between pregnancies.  They are removed from their cages only for breeding and birthing and may never feel grass or freedom.  Some females are even killed when their abused bodies can longer reproduce.  Bulldogs cannot give birth naturally and require Caesarean sections, so Bulldog moms are cut open again and again.  Many C sections are performed without proper medical treatment or painkillers.  The moms live a life of suffering, pain and hell for years.   Some dogs live in nauseatingly unsanitary conditions.  Most of these dogs will be sick and malnourished.  They lack adequate socialization, human contact, medical care, food, and water.  The breeding dogs and puppies can have giardia, parvo, heartworms, distemper, respiratory infections, and more.  The puppies will often be purchased with parasites, diseases and congenital problems.  They are ripped away from their mothers and siblings too young and suffer from behavioral issues.

INSPIRATION:
Adeline is Rags To Royals’ first substandard kennel survivor.  Because of her appalling life and internal medical issues, I became inspired and dedicated to saving more breeding dogs in dire straits.  Adeline suffered through numerous pregnancies and C sections.  She was carrying two deceased babies and had a terrible intestinal infection.  Her cervix was adhered to her bladder and her stomach was adhered to her uterus.  Adeline’s vaginal area was infected and such a mess that she underwent Vulvoplasty surgery.

All of the rescued Frenchies are thriving in their foster and forever palaces and adding joy to people’s lives.  With your help, we can turn many sick Bulldogs into Rags To Royals!  If you cannot donate, please share our fundraiser.  We need to build an army of Knights to fight for these noble nuggets!  Personal fundraisers receive funds immediately and are charged less in fees. Therefore, I am personally managing donations for this campaign.  If you prefer to help by purchasing products, we have an Etsy store.
