RACHEL SUITTER'S LIFE SAVING PROCEDURE

RACHEL SUITTER WAS FIRST DIAGNOSED with Multiple Sclerosis in 2010. It didn't take long before she lost the use of her legs. Then she lost the use of her arms. She's currently struggling to speak and her eye sight is deteriorating.

RACHEL HAS EXHAUSTED ALL CONVENTIONAL TREATMENTS and therapies. We've recently learned that some stem cell procedures have helped patients very similar to Rachel. They went from being like Ray, to being able to dress themselves, use the restroom and live by themselves. None have made complete recoveries, and there are no guarantees, but Rachel deserves every chance at life that we can provide.

IF WE RECEIVE ENOUGH CONTRIBUTIONS, Rachel will be taken to the TruStem Cell Therapy facility in Chicago, IL (https://trustemcell.com ) as soon as enough funds are available. We hope to accomplish this in October before there is a threat of having to travel in snow. It's hard to estimate the exact amount needed because Rachel will likely need more than one treatment. We'll also use the proceeds for special equipment that will be needed to transport Rachel to Chicago.

ALTHOUGH WE ARE ONLY ASKING FOR $50,000, that doesn't begin to cover Rachel's needs going forward. She's going to require so much more, as you can imagine. Rachel needs around the clock care and Medicaid will only provide a health care assistant for 4 hours each day, while she's living at home. We'd like to keep Rachel at home as long as we can, so we can provide her with the tender loving care and understanding that only a family member can provide. She is also in need of a van with a wheelchair lift, among other things. If we exceed our goal, the extra funds will be well utilized.

TIME IS RUNNING OUT. With each day that passes by, Rachel's eyesight worsens and she becomes more difficult to understand. We currently have to use an alphabet chart to communicate with her. She thanked me today for taking the time to try and understand her. She's so frustrated because no one will take the time to converse with her because they can't understand her. She's drifting off into the darkest of isolated worlds, in which there is no return.

IF WE DON'T ACT SOON, Rachel will continue to fade into a world where she can do nothing more than listen. Can you imagine lying there not being able to move your arms? Not being able to move your legs? Not being able to speak, AND, not being able to see?! When you think about it, that's worse than Hellen Keller. At least she could move, and, thus communicate. To further put things into perspective, remember Dr. Kevorkian? Most of his patients had what Rachel has, and it keeps getting worse.

My little girl has one last chance at life. Can you reach deep down in your heart and make a statement with your donation?

Your donations will be transfered directly into a "Special Needs Trust" set up for Rachel by her mother Susan Heather.

I would love to be able to tell Rachel that we have the funds.
