Rachael's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
In her mother's words ~ "She's just a sweet and beautiful soul who says please and thank you to everyone, even when she's at her worst."
Rachael is a full time college student at Glendale Community College and works as a waitress at Mimi's Cafe to support herself. She's twenty years old, a straight A student and dedicated Christian. She has never requested help from anyone. Everyone that meets Rachael falls in love with her kind and friendly personality. She's smart, funny, and full of life.
On September 11, 2018, Rachael and her family found out the devastating news that she has been diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia). This is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow which requires undergoing a month of chemo therapy treatment in the hospital followed by ongoing outpatient treatment.
We are asking for donations to go towards the family and their needs during this difficult time. It is essential to get Rachael the best possible care to help beat this disease. Rachael's apartment not only serves as a place for her to go home to, but a place where her grandparents will be staying to help care for their precious granddaughter. In addition, there will be many unexpected expenses, which is why this fund is greatly needed to help keep Rachael and her family afloat. Thank you so much for your donations, as every dollar counts.
