Raising funds for animal charities in Switzerland and Finland!

Hi, my name is Rachel FB and I'm a Swiss outdoor explorer.
Since 2015, I run and set up solo expeditions or with my team The Striders Adventures, made of my 2 dogs, my horse Ola and my three-legged cat Milwyn, in Europe and mainly in Scandinavia.
After several time in Northern Scandinavia, I now have a bigger dream:
to cover 1'000 kilometers on my own in winter in Finnish Lapland.
It's a major project that requires lots of logistics, preparation and training. And I'm so excited to make it come true!
TO SUPPORT THIS PROJECT, I NEED YOU!
Because there are no great adventurer without a great team!
Funds will be used:
to buy the required equipment (clothes, snowsled, etc.) and food supplies
to cover for travel expenses.
As for any of my expeditions, any benefits will be allocated to animal and environmental charities. All benefits from Arctic 1000 will be given to Ranua Wildlife Park in Finland and La Garenne in Switzerland. These two associations are doing an amazing job at protecting local fauna and endangered species.
