Dear friends of the Nelson family,
On February 8th, April and John received a phone call that every parent fears. While making dinner at her apartment in New York, Rachael's clothing caught fire and she was taken to the hopital with burns that will require surgery and at least 2 weeks stay for healing. She will be away from work for quite some time after while continuing to heal at home. Like many others, she currently does not have medical insurance and the costs will be substantial. We hope that this fund will help cover a portion of these costs and help reduce the stress through her recovery.
