Hello everyone! My name is Rachael Marino. If you're looking at this, you most likely know me in some way, but if not - I am an emerging professional Soprano. I have been working professionally for several years, most recently appearing as Second Lady in The Magic Flute with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.
At this stage in my career, it is important for me to attend Young Artist Programs to continue growing artistically. These programs allow me the exciting promise of working with renowned faculty from the world's leading opera houses as well as provide me with international networking and performance opportunities. I am incredibly fortunate to have been offered a position in two of these highly competitive programs this summer.
I have been selected to perform the role of Musetta in La Bohème with the Miami Music Festival . This production will be fully staged and costumed accompanied by orchestra. This outstanding program takes place at Barry University in Miami, Florida from June 6-July 3, 2016.
I have also been selected to participate in the iSING! International Young Artists Festival in Suzhou, China. This unique program offers coachings with renowned faculty, daily Mandarin classes, and concerts with orchestra in several Chinese cities, including Beijing! It takes place from July 7-August 12, 2016.
My Challenges
The total cost of the Miami Music Festival for tuition and housing is $4,650. I have already contributed $2,125 with $2,525 due by May 1st.
The iSING! Festival covers the costs of tuition, room and board, facilities, materials, and excursion. I am responsible for my own international travel and visa fees.

$1150 MMF Housing
$1500 Roundtrip Flight [US-China average]
$140 China Visitor Visa
$4165 TOTAL REMAINING EXPENSES
I am hoping to raise the funds necessary to cover the remaining costs of participating in these incredible programs. Any amount of sponsorship is greatly appreciated. No amount is too small. Those offering sponsorship of $40 or more will receive a signed copy of my latest CD recording filled with opera favorites. And of course, everyone who donates will receive a personalized thank you note from me!
I am so thankful for all of the support and encouragement I continue to receive from friends, family, mentors and fans. You all mean the world to me, and these upcoming programs will not only be instrumental to my growth as an artist, but will help me continue to give back to all of you!
