Race around the world by bike

On the 14 June 2020 I will be attempting the solo, self supported, female world record for the fastest circumnavigation of the world by bike. Starting and ending in Paris, via 18,000 miles around this beautiful planet.
I have a huge passion for exploring the limits of human potential and am fascinated by what we are truly capable of accomplishing once we dial into our passion and overcome fear and self doubt. This extreme endurance challenge will certainly take me to my limits, spending around 16 days in the saddle for 100+ days it will push me both mentally and physically to the brink.
Part of exploring and discovering your own potential is inspiring and encouraging others to unlock theirs and I am passionate in encouraging others to make the most of their time and live their dreams. Since arriving home from my last adventure earlier this year I have been dedicating a morning of my time each week to visit schools in my region to share my passion for adventure, encouraging students to view challenges as an opportunity to learn and grow and highlighting the importance of self belief, resilience, curiosity and passion. I will continue to do this up until my departure next year and create a match the miles project for schools around Cumbria to encourage children to get out, ride their bikes and challenge themselves.
As the attempt is self supported i will not be able to accept any outside help so I will be out there alone, sourcing my own food and water and sleeping between my bivvy and cheap guest houses.
I am budgeting the challenge at £20,000 of which i will save my ass off for a third, knock on the corporate door for another third and fund raise for the final third. So if you dig what i'm and you would like to help me achieve my dream and supply me with some calories or a comfortable night rest along the way I would be massively grateful.
