Remembering Gordon Clarkson.

Gordon passed away suddenly on September 7th, 2021. He was beloved by family, friends and coworkers alike.

You didn’t have to know Gordon long to realize he had a passion for aviation and meteorology. Gordon would spend days meticulously planning every last detail of a trip and then flying it on his flight simulator. When his pilot friends ran into interesting real-life situations, they’d tell Gordon about them and he enjoyed incorporating them into his flights. We often joked that Gordon only needed the physical flying skills to get his pilot license as he already had all of the necessary knowledge.

His family would like to honor his memory by setting up a scholarship fund at the Institute of Aviation, Parkland College to help future pilots reach their goals and dreams. All donations will be used to make a one time donation.
