This Go Fund me account is long past due. We all know Tawshma was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, Invasive Ductal Cell Carcinoma Last August. We sent her well wishes and prayers as she moved through 16 rounds of chemotherapy. Testing positive for Braca I Gene led her to the difficult decision of a double mastectomy. This is no easy surgery and no easy choice. I'm certain every decision and step was guidedby her commitment to Phoenix and Tasia.
This was Tawshma's facebook post regarding her treatment:
"After careful consideration I decided to take the advise of my Dr and do chemo. Today is my first of 16 and I'm scared but I know god has me covered. Life changing stuff and by the voice I've heard thru all this I know this experience will have a beautiful story to tell in the end. #positivevibesonly.
I'm sharing this because I know there are other people out there who are going thru this or knows someone who has. I know I have to be strong and if you ask anyone they will say she's a fighter and she will be ok. But sometimes even people like me strong, need to be lifted up. "
Lets lift her up!
We have all watched her move through this overwhelming journey with grace, bravery and perseverance. Fighting Cancer takes more than a positive attitude and prayer, certainly Tawshma has plenty of both. Fighting cancer takes MONEY in this country, lots of it. Let's show Tawshma what an amazing community of people she has supporting her by offering any dollar amount you can ( no amount is too small even 5$ given by 500 people makes a difference). Let Tawshma rest in the hospital with out worry of covering her insurance deductible or hurrying back to work. If the insurance companies won't allow us to rest - we can give it to each other, we can give it to Tawshma. Many small contributions create one large one! Any amount is appreciated.
