Rebuilding after a tragic house fire

Hello, my name is Nancy Abednego and I’m fundraising on behalf of my brother David, sister in law Jayde and two nieces Rilee and Caitlyn to help rebuild after a house fire claimed everything they have and tragically, the lives of their 3 pets in Tingalpa QLD on Saturday night, February 24 2024.

In light of such sadness and shock, we are very thankful, nobody was home at the time of this event as we were out to dinner celebrating little Caitlyn’s 9th birthday and Jayde had very proudly showed photos of her hard work redecorating my nieces bedroom for her special day.

Jayde has been unable to return to work as a nurse due to a serious medical diagnosis and they have unfortunately had to put many bills on hold such as contents insurance and medication. And despite all of this both her and David are always helping anyone in need and are very much loved in their social circles.

I would like to thank everyone who has reached out so far and appreciate any donations we receive, no matter the amount as this will contribute to rebuild their lives.
