Dakota "Watty" Watson

On Friday, July 24, 2020, Dakota went to a friend's apartment to help her after her recent breakup and the ex showed up, forced his way into the apartment, and shot Dakota in the head and in the arm. He is in the hospital with a good outlook, but he will have a long road to recovery. That recovery plan will include surgery to help reconstruct his fractured occipital bone and sinus cavity so he does not begin to leak spinal fluid through his sinuses. He also has some damage to his frontal lobe but we are hoping physical therapy, excellent medical care, and Dakota's undying wit and determination will help him recover quickly. Because of the severity of his injuries, he will require a great deal of unexpected medical treatment, along with what we already know, and with that comes unexpected medical expenses. Any help that you can provide our sweet boy would be very much appreciated.
