Kelly's cancer fund

This is our story. Our son Kelly started getting tired a lot and his legs started to hurt him all the time. Then he found a knot on the back of his neck in the hairline about a week later we found one under his chin So we took him to the doctors. His white blood count was very low. Dr. Doyle sent us straight to Kosair Children's Hospital where his bed and doctors were waiting for us. They did a lot more tests and on October 18th 2017 we got the results that are 14 year old son (Kelly ) has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. We are devastated how and why did this happen to him. The next day kelly started chemo. They put a port in his chest it makes it easier for him to get chemo and they do a spinal tap once a week they draw out spinal fluid to check it to make sure it's not spreading to his organs and then inject chemo in. doctor tells us that it could take up to three years to cure Kelly could be with him his whole life. Blood transfusions platelet transfusions and bone marrow transfusions could be part of his life. We pray that they can just get rid of it and he can live a normal life. Kelly started high school this year at PRP High school where he's an honor roll student and he misses all his friends and just hanging out. With over 1 million in medical bills already they're stacking up way too fast we can't keep up His treatment is 4 days a week .He wants to be a policeman when he grows up.
