Honoring Patrick

Hello, Welcome to our go fund me page for Patrick Coston. Patrick unexpectedly passed away in his sleep Monday, 12/2/19. Patrick was a father, brother,uncle and friend. A God fearing man. Avid Saints fan (he loved football)Born and raised in New Orleans all his life and moved to California 7 months ago to reunite with his children and 4 year old granddaughter. Within the 7 months of being in California Patrick loved spending time with his children and reconnecting with them. He established a lovely bond with his granddaughter. His family was his everything. Patrick also set goals to not only enhance his life and his families but to also be an advocate for our homeless population. He joined a training program to become certified to work with the homeless and would have graduated 12/12/19! Patrick was such a go getter!! He built and fostered relationships with wonderful mentors along the way. He was recognized as a high achiever amongst his peers and mentors. He had huge goals and accomplished many of them within his time in California. He had such a bright future and I believe he would have made an impact in this world. His future was positively unfolding before him with endless possibilities. I am the Aunt to Patrick’s children and sister to their mother AND he was my “brother from another mother” as they say. He was kind, respectful to all humble and had a big heart. He was just a good person. Anyone who met him could see and feel that. Most important, he loved his family. Due to the sudden passing of Patrick, we were not prepared financially. Patrick’s children are now faced with extremely difficult decisions of his burial. Patrick’s children are young adults literally just beginning their lives in many ways and need support during this time. We are grateful for this platform and are hoping for any assistance financially you can offer to help his children honor him. If you so kindly donate for Patrick, the funds will go directly towards his casket and a very modest funeral service of which we were told could be up to $7,000.00. We will miss you Patrick!
