My mom (Eunice) is here in Winnipeg on a visit from Nigeria. On the evening of August, 20th 2018, my mom ( Eunice) went to the basement of our house to check on my daughter who was doing laundry in preparation for school resumption. On her way back to the main floor, she missed her step on the stairs, fell backward off 9 flight of stairs, hitting her head on the basement concrete floor in the process. She suffered a severe traumatic brain injury and neck injury.
She was taken to the hospital unresponsive.
She is still on admission at HSC, Winnipeg, MB, Canada.
She has been at HSC since and the bill is now in thousands of dollars.
