CJ’s recovery

Hello my family and friends, and for those who do not know me, my name is Tina Mercado. Today, I am talking to you as my grandson CJ’s Mimi, and am here to tell you about my little boy’s story. It’s been two months since my grandson was admitted into the hospital for a severe case of Covid-19. Since then he has remained in the hospital, however he is now starting his recovery process, improving daily, fighting each day with Mommy and Daddy at his side. Though CJ is making little improvements daily, his recovery is not an overnight battle. After being discharged, CJ will need months and months of treatment with inpatient and outpatient care such as speech, physical, and occupational therapy, and a care center for him to be able to thrive and become the happy and active little boy we all know him to be. When outside of the hospital, CJ will also need specific equipment so that our family can provide him with the best care at home. To give their baby boy the love and support that he needs, mom and dad have dedicated their lives to being with CJ at the hospital since the beginning of this nightmare. Without leaving his side, causing their costs of living and the significant amount of hospital bills have become unbearable for them to handle alone. So if anyone that can find it in their heart to help them out in any monetary way, I would truly be grateful for your kindness and generosity.

I do understand that it can be difficult to ask for monetary donations because times are hard for everyone, so I will ask if you cannot do so, to please continue your prayers for CJ’s recovery & the strength for David & Melissa to get through the most difficult time of their lives.
