'Here For The Hat'

Our community has a long tradition of coming together to support our friends and neighbours who find themselves in difficult situations. We hope you will join us in supporting our friend John O’ Keeffe (The Hat) in his ongoing journey with Cancer. John is now facing into a number of serious operations which will require a long recovery time, so we are putting this fund together to assist him with his day to day expenses so he can focus all his energy on his recovery. While we would all love to come together to support John unfortunately this is not possible at the moment, so we have launched this GoFundMe campaign and hopefully during the summer as restrictions are lifted our fundraising efforts will conclude with a major event. Over the years John has always been one of the first to step forward to support and help with other fundraising efforts and community causes and we hope our support now will help him continue his fight with the same positivity and strength he has shown to date.
