Help schitzophrenic trans woman pay for essentials

With permission from her, I made this gofundme to give financial support to my housemate and friend who is suffering from a debilitating mental illness. Amy developed a very severe case of schitzophrenia a few years back. Because of this, she is dependent on us. She can not hold a job, and getting treatment for her mental health has been arduous (but progress is being made). She applied for disability 8 months ago and the government has yet to process her case for this entire time. She has been unable to pay for rent, food, and other essentials. We are still housing her, but many of our housemates have lost their jobs due to the pandemic, and we are all behind on rent and utility bills. We are hoping to cover her rent, utilities and food for another couple months while we figure out how to finally get finincial government assistance. Thank you, anything helps!
