Rafa's medical and other expenses!

On October 21, 2017 Rafael was riding his motorcycle to work when some asshole cut him off, forcing Rafa to crash into the center divider. The asshole took off, quickly exiting the freeway. None of the witnesses were able to get the asshole's liscense plates. Rafa's tibia was shattered and he went into emergency surgery right away to help prevent Rafa from losing his leg. Unfortunately he will need at least two more surgeries and at least six months of recovery. He currently has bolts sticking out of his legs, his soft tissue is damaged, and he will need rods put in his upper and lower leg.  We are incredibly lucky Rafa survived the crash and was not injured any worse. 

This is going to be a very expensive next six months. Rafa's motorcycle insurance is most likey not going to cover any of the expenses and he has no health insurance. We desperately need help paying for the medical bills and our other bills. Rent is super expensive and we need to eat. We are not the type of people to ask for help like this but we have no other option. My job does not pay as good as his and I'm trying to finish my bachelors degree in Psychology. So I am only able to work part time. We appreciate all the love and support we have received and are incredibly grateful for any  help we can get.
