"Wibby" Heffron Romano Memorial

We are so sad to hear of the passing of our dear friend and classmate, Elizabeth Heffron Romano, affectionately known as "Wibby" to the Dundee Community High School class of 1977.  Wibby was a known to almost everyone in our class of over 300 students.  She was outgoing, a cheerleader, full of spunk and always offered a smile.  Can I just say, she  had the most awesome hair!  Cancer is an ugly disease that takes too many of our loved ones.  We can all be thankful for those hospice caregivers that make the end of life experience just a little bit better.  The DCHS Class of 1977 wishes to honor our friend and classmate by donating to JourneyCare, the hospice organization that cares for over 3000 patients each day throughout 10 counties in Illinois.  We appreciate all that you do for our loved ones and hope that in this small way we can make a difference in the lives of others that need this compassionate care.  To Elizabeth Wibby Heffron Romano, May you rest in peace and know that so many were touched by your life!
