" C" is worthy of an EDUCATION !!

Celestine is a young man I met when visiting Uganda 6 years ago. He lost his father at the age of 7 and lived in a rural village of Uganda with his mother who was left with nothing as a widow.  After a few years of knowing him, I realized I had met one of the purest-hearted guys that walk on the planet. I watched him serve and give at every turn. He was always trying to help the underdog, always pleading the case of someone less fortunate, when he himself had nothing. He would help others raise money for school, food and basic needs, while he himself went without.     NOW it is our turn to help him.

He applied to North Central College in Illinois and after receiving his outstanding transcript was accepted and given some of the highest scholarships available. The $50,000 a year school has dropped the cost to $15,000 a year. We are trying to get the first 2 years secured along with books, a laptop and a bit of housing expense.  We know it is a stretch, but I would love to see him be able to take the classes this coming fall.

I have had the privilege of having him live with my family for the last 2 years. He was very hard working and helped at every turn. I know if given the chance to go to college, he will grow in the knowledge and wisdom to make a difference around the world. So lets all pitch in and make a          difference around the world.
