Ron Martin and Family

On September 7th, Ron was rushed to the ER for chest pains. After multiple tests and many days in the hospital doctors finally determined that he needed heart surgery. We were shocked because he seemed to be in good health. He leads an active lifestyle. He was originally scheduled for a quadruple (4) bypass but ended up needing a quintuple (5) bypass. Doctors stablized him and today he is home and on the long road to recovery. Ron is an amazing dad and he has served in the air force for over 25 years. He is always there to help others when they are in need. The financial burden of this unexpected medical emergency is really weighing on Ron and I right now. He has works for FedEx Express for 12 years. He is the head of household working full time to provide for our family of 5. His job is physically demanding and with all his restrictions he will be unable to work for some time. I am part time at FedEx Express but need to stay home with Ron to take care of him until he gets a little stronger. We are concerned about the every day costs of living as well as the hospital bills that have already started to add up. All 3 of the children's birthdays are coming up in October/November and then of course Christmas right after. The savings we had was depleted when our basement flooded a few months ago. Insurance wouldn't cover it and lots of stuff had to be replaced. I'm sure you understand, the fear of the unknown is worrisome. Anything you could do for our family would be so appreciated.
