Quinten's Kidney Transplant

In October 2016, Quinten was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease. This diagnosis was a shock to our family. Quinten went in to be evaluated for health in donating his kidney to his cousin, and he found out his own kidneys had completely failed.  Now 1 1/2 years later Quinten is finally healthy enough to qualify for the transplant list. It is typically a 3-5 year wait, in the meantime he does 4 hour dialysis treatments 3 days a week until a suitable donor can be found.  Once a matching Kidney is found we will both have to fly to Seattle, as there are no hospitals in the state of Alaska who provide transplant services, and stay in a hotel in Seattle for 2-3 months. 

We are hoping to raise funds to cover the expense of the lengthy hotel stay, and help offset the medication and surgery costs.
