Quin's MAGIC Convention Trip

Help us get Quin to the MAGIC Convention this year!

Quin has a rare condition called Russell Silver Syndrome. Among other things, it causes hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and a growth hormone deficiency. At almost 9, Quin is only 45" tall - the size of an average 6-year-old. He also struggles to maintain adequate blood sugar levels, which requires his blood sugar to be checked 2-5 times a day, by pricking his finger with a sharp needle.
Through it all, Quin remains a bright, happy, incredibly sweet and loving little boy. What he really needs right now is to be seen by an endocrinologist who specializes in RSS. But because it is such a rare condition - only 1 in 100,00 kids - there is only ONE specialist in the entire US. This very special doctor will be seeing patients for FREE at the MAGIC Foundation's annual Convention in Chicago. The Convention is a chance for Quintin to see this special doctor, have special a dental consultation done, and spend a few days meeting kids who are just like him! There are also lots of panels for mom & dad all about the specific issues of raising a child with RSS.
The full cost of the trip (airfare, hotel, convention fees, transportation, etc) is over $2,000. This is much more than we can afford and so we are asking our family, friends and loved ones to help us raise the funds to get Quin to the Convention this year. Every little bit helps and we really really appreciate every single donation!
