Quinn's DBA Holiday Fundraiser

As most of you know our daughter Quinn was born with an incredibly rare bone marrow failure disease called Diamond Blackfan Anemia.  In short her bone marrow does not produce red blood cells which requires her to receive a blood transfusion every 3-4 weeks.  There are only about 1000 people in the world that have DBA making it a very rare disease that doesn't get much attention.  Since she is now 5 years old we decided it was finally time to get more involved in raising money towards finding a cure.  

Lauren has recently accepted a position with the DBA Foundation executive board and this year we are starting a friends & family campaign to raise money for the DBA Foundation.  The money raised in this campaign will go directly to funding research towards alternative treatments and a cure.  We also have an annoymous donor who has agreed to match 100% of the funds raised here.  Donations will be accepted through December 25th.  

Those of you who are lucky enought to know Quinn know she is a happy, enegetic, smart 5 year old and looking at her you would never know she had anything wrong with her body.  We feel very lucky that thus far she has not had any other compications but we realize that could change at a moments notice.  Thank you so much for considering a donation for our girl.
