Quinn Treanor's Recovery
Donation protected
On January 25th, while training Super G at Sun Peaks, Red Mountain Racer Quinn Treanor suffered a high-speed crash. Quinn was treated at the Sun Peaks medical unit by a group of on-hill doctors and was then transported to the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops by BCEHS Advanced Care Paramedics. Quinn spent 8 hours in the hospital’s trauma unit with a group of medical professionals who worked hard to stabilize her condition. Quinn has no broken bones but has sustained serious head trauma.
Quinn’s parents, Eryn and Gerad, and sister, Maeve, remain in Kamloops close to Quinn while she undergoes treatment and continues her recovery. The length of Quinn’s length of stay in hospital is unknown at this time; doctors continue to assess and monitor her injuries.
Please consider contributing financially to the Treanors, as there are considerable costs mounting which are not covered by insurance: food and lodging in Kamloops, loss of income while they are supporting their daughter's recovery in hospital, and rehabilitation costs upon her discharge.
