Quality of Life For Bridget Brown

As many of you may or may not have noticed, our wonderful mother Bridget Brown has been struggling with her health for months. In June she was brought into the ICU due to dangerously low sodium levels. During her 2 week stay at the UMass Medical Center in Worcester she was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. After several days of observation and discussions with the medical staff we decided to focus on quality of life as treatment would do more harm than good.

We are extremely grateful to have her home, back in the Berkshires where we can spend more time with her. Her care is now our family's full time responsibility. At this point Bridget requires around the clock care. Since we found out the severity of her health we have been out of work to be with her and to process and accept the situation. We are starting this GoFundMe to help with costs associated with her well being and comfort. Any money raised will allow for us to care for her in the best possible way,  allow us for us to have the time to be with our mother, and allow for us to take some of the pressure off of her sisters who have been tirelessly caring for her night after night.
