While hospitalized in June 2018 for a Pulmonary Embolism we learned that Steve has an Aortic Aneurysm in his ascending aorta. He has been referred to The Cleveland Clinic for open heart surgery to repair the aneurysm on Aug 31.
It's hard to ask for help and this account has been humbly created after figuring our travel expenses will amount to anywhere from $1500 to $2000 or more.
Steve will be admitted on Aug. 28 and have surgery on Aug. 31. We have been told to expect to stay another 5-7 days after surgery if all goes well.
I have started a new job as a Realtor, and while I am working with a few clients, to date I have not had any closings to help with our expenses.
