Harvey Relief Fund

Hi all! Many of you know that I lived in Houston for two years during my fellowship training, and like with all places I've lived, I left a little piece of me behind there. Harvey left quite a trail of destruction in it's path, and instead of donating to large organizations, I thought it'd be better to donate to two women I know personally that have been affected. The first, a single mom of two, whose house is now flooded and unfortunately did not have flood insurance because her agent told her "she wasn't in a flood zone." The second, also a mom with a close family, now with both her and her husbands cars lost, and unknown damages to her apartment. She had to get rescued because she had no way of leaving her second story aparment when the rain went from bad to worse. Unable to go back, she doen't know what loses she's incured yet. All of the money will go to home repairs, new car that needs to be purchased, and to family living expenses. Please consider helping these wonderfuly women.
