It's A Wonderful Life

Friends, family and fellow artists! We, the Dancers here at Odyssey Dance Theatre would like to ask for your help to raise money for our upcoming Christmas show:
It’s A Wonderful Life!

That’s right, Odyssey is planning on bringing back to Utah this holiday favorite!
This “Broadway Worthy” production takes a lot of working and expensive elements to put together: Cast, Stage Crew, Theater Costs, Marketing, Sets and Props - not to mention the orchestra pit full of water!

So many businesses have taken a big hit because of COVID and the Arts are no exception. With the current COVID restrictions placed on local theaters in Salt Lake City, we can only have 20% of the normal seating capacity – and therefore we need help to put this “Wonderful” show on!

It is a show that patrons have constantly asked if it would ever be returning, and we thought with everything that has gone on this past year it would be a perfect reason and season to bring back this holiday classic.

Odyssey is fortunate enough to be able to put on our production of Thriller this fall – even with these restrictions, but our normal number of Thriller shows were also cut in half - which has significantly impacted our financial situation as well.

The world needs Arts now more than ever. We all could use a “Wonderful” escape from the craziness of the outside world. We know Utahn’s could use a couple hours to just sit back and enjoy a night out with their family and friends, and experience and ponder the heartfelt message of this powerful story!
Our location this is going to all take place is still TBD but we are planning on the performances to happen December 14-23
