Kristin's Cancer Recovery

Anyone that's met Kristin Linderman knows that she truly brightens any room she walks into. From her infectious laugh to her shining smile, you never spend time with this woman where you're not laughing about something. A year and a half ago, this beautiful soul was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer shocking herself and those surrounding her. But as is her way, Kristin has handled this life changing ordeal with grace, class and a heavy dose of inappropriate boob jokes. She's reluctantly taken the help sent her way and has been ever humbled by even the smallest gesture. She's come through chemotherapy, a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery, smiling very nearly the entire time. Her friends and family are constantly in awe of how well she's endured everything that's come her way.

A year later, Kristin’s struggle still isn't over. Over the past year, Kristin hasn't been able to work at either of her jobs as much as she would have liked due to the necessary recovery times for her treatments and surgeries. Having recently undergone an oophorectomy, where both of her ovaries were removed as a preventative measure, she's finding her financial situation in peril. This strong, independent, amazing woman has resisted asking for help for as long as she possibly could, but with her savings severely depleted and her ability to work full time still in question after her most recent surgery, the time to help is now.
