Hiking 100 hilly kms for Childhood Cancer

It's been a difficult year for our family. Our own cancer journey started in February when I was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer the same week as giving birth to my first child, Archie. After finding a lump in my breast, my worst fears were confirmed when I was told I had Triple Negative breast cancer, a strain that's more common in women under 40. Juggling new motherhood, whilst navigating cancer is a situation I never imagined I'd be in.

Despite the challenges our family have encountered, we decided the only thing worse than cancer is childhood cancer!

Therefore my Dad and I are going to hike 100kms over two days in May to raise money for the charity Children With Cancer UK and every donation will help. We are walking from Corfe Castle to Bridport along the Jurassic coast and it is going to be hilly!

We are both pretty out of shape at the moment. I gave birth and dealt with cancer, but not sure what my dad's excuse is! So rest assured, this will be quite the challenge for us.
