Help Mt Calvary Fix the Church Basement Flooding

Hi, my name is Veronica and I am fundraising for the church I attend, Mt. Calvary Apostolic Church, and our need to repair the damage caused by the extreme amount of rain we have received this past week and remediate against storms that come our way in the future.

Last week, we in the metro Denver area, received so much more rain then we typically do, raining for over twenty-four hours non-stop. When the parking lot and grounds could hold no more water, it started pouring into the church and parsonage basements.

It has been a few days of moving wet furniture and throwing away items damaged beyond use, with the constant sopping up and cleaning up of the water that is still slowly coming in because the ground has not dried up yet because the rain continues off and on.

So as we do the insurance back and forth, we know we will need additional funds to remedy the whole situation so this doesn't happen again. This could include mold issues, outdoor landscaping solutions and roofing/gutter solutions.

Since this just happened and we are at the beginning stages of finding an affordable answer, we are also fairly new to this building and resolving these issues will be a costly one because of the building's age, so, anything you can give would be greatly appreciated.

The Pastor and his family have given so much of themselves for this work over the years and have been a blessing to so many people. It would be so awesome to bless them this time around.
