Mary Jo Clarke's Road to Recovery

Hello everyone! As many of you know, 6 years ago in November our mother Mary Jo Clarke was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Through hard work, positive energy, and a tough spirit she was able to overcome it and become a cancer survivor!

Over the course of the past couple of years she had been going to her follow up appointments to make sure that the disease was in remission and from what we could tell the cancer had completely gone away. However back in early August, she was informed that the ovarian cancer had actually metastasized and settled in her liver without detection and became very serious. As it began to spread we were informed that there is a mass on her heart that is cancerous as well. We are all in high spirits and feel optimistic that she can once again overcome this difficult challenge, but due to this unfortunate circumstance she has been out of work and unable to receive much income and medical bills are beginning to pile up.

We have created a GoFundMe page to create another outlet for friends to donate and help through this difficult time. We would greatly appreciate any and all donations that you are able to provide. More importantly, any type of support whether it be a simple text message, Facebook comment, or phone call to her would go a long way in keeping spirits high and letting our mother know that she has the support of the people who truly care about her wellbeing.
