Single Mom Needs Surgery

For those of you that know Leslie you know what a hardworking, loving and genuine woman she is. She has always put others first and is the type of person that will meet you once and remember to ask how your sister’s brother in law’s nephew’s health is the next time she sees you because she truly listens and cares. Leslie has a dangerous umbilical hernia that has grown in size and has the potential to encase some of her other organs which can be extremely dangerous. As some of you know she is an incredible preschool teacher that is so loved by her students, colleagues and fights to ensure her students continuously grow in her classroom. Leslie works very hard and is constantly having to lift heavy things or children inside and outside of the classroom and she is in an insurmountable amount of pain. Unfortunately, for Leslie to have this surgery she’s going to take a major pay cut and there may be aspects of the surgery that will not be covered. She’s a single mom that is supporting her daughter as she gets through school and is working towards her degree as well, even when she is working full time, has difficulty making ends meet. This money will be going towards the families needs as Leslie recovers from this surgery as well as some costs that may not be covered for the surgery.
