Hi RTs, This is Dennis Stanley with LindseyJones. I'm participating in a great new project to help establish the first licensed Respiratory Therapists in all of Africa.
I'm raising money to provide books and online training to the first RT class at the University of Ghana to prepare to become RTs. I've also been asked to partcipate in writing the first credential examination (kind of like the NBRC exam) for the country. To do that, I and a small documentary team are headed to Ghana in May to gain a hands-on understanding of respiratory healthcare in Ghana. The exam will tailored to the respiratory care needs of their communities. Funds will be used for travel and stay for on month in Ghana, and to donate LindseyJones books and materials to each new RT student, and to create a documentary for the country.
You can be part of it with any donation amount. $2 to $5 is fine. We will try to post your name on our documentary video for higher donations. The video will be released to over 30,000 RTs
I truly think this is an amazing opportunity help aspiring men and women from Ghana to become respiratory therapists and to share the gratitude for your career with the people of Africa.
