Sudden loss in our family

On Sunday, we lost my father. He passed suddenly in his sleep.
My father was a man of faith and a good husband to Marie and adoring father to myself (Danielle) and my brother Sean. He especially loved being a grandfather to my son, Griffin who is 2.
My father was only 59 when he passed, and he was embarking on the healthiest point of his life. He truly was making great improvements for his life because as he told us, he wanted to be around to watch all of us grow. His children, grandchildren and of course to walk through life with his wife.
My dad was a true family man. He taught me a lot of great life lessons that I take with me and will pass along to my children when the time is right.
He loved to support his community. I remember when I was little, on Thanksgiving we would go around and deliver turkeys to those who needed. He was the type of man who would give the shirt off of his back without any thought.
My dad loved sports and taking us to games. He also enjoyed going to the beach and fishing.
This tremendous loss has caught my family off guard.
