Help us rebuild
Donation protected
As you all are aware Florida has taken a huge hit by hurricane Irma. Horse power for Kids was in a direct projected path and in Zone A mandatory evacuation. But there was no way Armando would have left any of his furry friends. So instead he prepared for the worst, set up cages indoor and outdoor with high ground in case of flooding, dug trenches around the property to keep water out of the cages, used pallets for higher ground around the lake . All these efforts has made such a powerful effect, but there is still devastation. Our lake has flooded, roofs have flown off, animals enclosures have come dismembered and mangled. So therefore , we are now reaching out to the public help in restoring this safe haven for animals and also the thousands of kids that come here year round. Horse power will have to remain closed for the duration of the cleanup and rebuild which could be a week or more, therefore no income will be coming in. We ask if you could please donate; and if you can't please share this post. Lastly, if you cannot donate monetary value, your helping hands, water and food for volunteers, plywood, pallets, garbage bags, etc. will help tremendously as well.
