Ride for Education: Empowering Lebanon's Youth

Hi!

My name is Simon Boulos, and I am currently pursuing my MBA at the London Business School.

On May 3rd, 2024, I will embark on a three-day cycling journey from London to Amsterdam. This ~350 km endeavor isn't just a personal milestone; it's a drive towards a greater cause.

I'm dedicating this ride to a very special project created by the Jouzour-Simon Boulos Foundation in Lebanon. The aim of the project is to support college students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in the north of Lebanon. In light of the severe economic and financial crisis impacting the country, many families are unable to afford the cost of higher education. Our project focuses on pairing these students with sponsors, both locally and internationally, to ensure they can commence or continue their education in the academic year 2024-2025 and beyond.

This initiative will allow both newly accepted students and those already in college to finish their studies and go on to seize opportunities that only a diploma can provide, enabling them to support their families.
