Family Home Burned Down

Hello, my name is Katie Warren. I’m making this account for my family because on Wednesday, June 7th we lost our family home in a devastating fire. I say family home because everyone on my moms side of the family was basically raised in this home at some point of their life. It belonged to my Grandma Mildred Meckley since the mid 60s, and when she passed away she left it to my Mother Debra Meckley, and my Uncle Kelly Meckley. Not only did my oldest son (6yrs old), myself, my mother, and uncle lose all of our belongings, but my mother lost all 4 of her dogs in the fire, and the entire Meckley family lost their childhood home, full of lifetime photos, and memories. The cause of the fire is incredibly hard to believe for all of us. Police are saying it was set intentionally. And neighbors were able to give a description of the person under suspicion. It is currently under investigation so that’s all I can say. In the meantime, My sons and I have a place to stay but My mother (Debra) and my uncle (Kelly) are struggling to find a new home to live in while staying in motels.
