Riley's next fight!

For anyone who doesn't know them, I'd like to introduce the Jupp family. Tonya and Kenny have 2 boys, Landen and Riley.
Riley is the youngest and he's 6 years old. When he was 1 he had his first stroke. They discovered that his left carotid artery was fully occluded and he wasn't getting blood flow on that side. His body did amazing things and adapted with just his right carotid artery and made new pathways for blood flow. He battled back and has lived with limitations and lots of follow up but was relatively ok for Riley.
Recently Riley got sick and had 4 new mini strokes in a short period of time. He was transferred to BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver and started to have tests. His MRI showed that his right carotid artery is now partially occluded and the blood is only trickling through. His right ICA (internal carotid artery) supplies most of the blood to his brain. The gist of this being that Riley now requires a big brain surgery really soon. Within weeks he'll be back at BC Children's and the road to recovery will be a long one. I want to add that Riley has never once complained or questioned "why me". He just continues to fight and do what he's told to do!!I'm setting up this fundraiser to help them with the costs that won't be covered. Tonya has taken leave from her job to be at his side while in hospital. She will have a place to sleep but there isn't any help for her meals or incidentals while she's there.
In addition to all that we live in Victoria. For Kenny to be able to visit when he can he will be incurring ferry costs both ways at a cost of $80 one way. There is a program to help families with accomodations but there will still be a cost to Kenny as he cannot stay in hospital while he's there. The program helps when it can but there isn't always availability at a reduced cost.
I personally know that long hospital stays can be costly. I'm asking for you to donate or share so that we can help the Jupp's try to be together as much as possible while Riley fights the battle.
