In desperate need of Emergency help

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Heather. I feel just awful having to ask for help, this year has been so terrible for everyone. I’ve had a ton of ongoing health problems and conditions, which I’m going to briefly explain, for anyone that doesn’t know me, but focus mainly on the issues we’re dealing with at the moment. I have Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. My Lupus specialist passed away in February 2020, so my infusions, to help keep my Lupus under control at least, came to a screeching halt. I need to be treated, but I can’t find a new doctor to take on a new patient during this pandemic. I owe thousands, and thousands, and thousands in medical debt. I wish that were an exaggeration. I had neck surgery January 22, 2020. I had zero neck or arm pain, at that point. Most of my back pain is down in the area of my first spinal fusion, in my lumbar spine, my L5-S1, and into my legs. I had my second spine surgery, a double spinal fusion from my C5-C7, and had hoped it would fix at least some of the persistent problems with my spine. It only made me much worse, unfortunately. I’m fully bed bound, now. My husband and I have 3 children, our daughter is 19, and our sons are 14, and 13. My two boys are doing virtual learning, and we have no computer. The school gave them tablets to use, thank goodness, but it’s very difficult for them using tablets to do all of their school work. To put the Cherry on top of everything we’ve been through this year, this past Monday a tree limb fell through the windshield of one of our cars. That car was my deceased Mother’s, and I’m very much emotionally attached to that car. That same night we had another terrible storm, and my husband had to go to work, he drove through water and hydrolocked the engine in our Dodge Charger. The CAI (cold air intake) on a stock Charger comes out just below the fog light, not leaving much room from the ground. It’s entirely too low, but that’s besides the point. The engine is dead, it’s gone. The next morning we received a letter that we are in tax sale on our home, because of the water and sewer. My property taxes are paid, though! I had considered us blessed that my husband still had a job through this pandemic, but there has been zero overtime, which has caused us to lose around $20,000 of his salary this year. His salary is our only income, other than the very tiny amount of disability I receive. The only surgeon that we have found that will even look at my spine, to fix what the other doctors broke, is in NYC. I live in Southern NJ. We don’t have the money for the travel expenses to see this doctor, and we lost the use of our only two vehicles on Monday November 30, 2020. We do have insurance, but our deductible is outrages. We need a car, and I need a lot of medical attention. I really don’t like asking for help, especially from anyone we don’t know, but we have no family at all. Anything helps, and we will be forever thankful for any help at this point, at all. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my story, if you’ve made it this far. That alone means so much to me. Thank you, again, and God  Bless.
**Update- our Charger is being totaled. They’re not even giving us close to what we owe to total this car! I’m scared, and don’t know what we’re going to do! It also doesn’t help that I loved that car so much. That was my car, until I could no longer drive, because of my back and neck pain. I truly loved that car so much
