My name is Amanda Gunter, and I am raising money for Rachael Nannenga and her family as their sweet son Arlo battles cancer for the second time.

Arlo was originally diagnosed with Stage 2 Wilms Cancer last year at the age of 5. After his tumor was removed and he received 9 cycles (4 months) of a 2-drug chemotherapy, he was considered cancer-free. Recently, at Arlo's 12-month follow-up appointment, a 6 cm tumor was discovered to be growing where his surgical clips were from his original surgery. For kiddos with Wilms, tumors can double in size every 11-18 days, so surgery is necessary and needs to be done quickly. He is currently scheduled on December 8th for tumor removal and his port re-placement. Unfortunately, this time around, chemo will be more intensive. He will be doing a 9-drug chemotherapy regimen with 17 cycles, which equals about 43 weeks. About every 3 weeks, Arlo's treatment will be inpatient for up to 4 days. The other weeks will consist of outpatient chemo. On weeks 6-7, he will have daily chemo and radiation. Arlo has already faced such a tough battle with another tough road ahead, but we know that he can beat this again!
