Griffin John Namin Memorial Fund

Griffin John Namin passed away after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer on Wednesday June 26, 2019. Griff was extremely passionate towards each and every thing he took on in life and continuously gave to those around him. Shortly before he passed and in typical Griffin fashion, he wrote out numerous letters to family, friends, and colleagues outlining his last words and wishes for them. Among those letters were his last wishes and one last request for all of us. Griffin wanted a fund set-up in his name so that we could carry on his legacy and give back to organizations that had given so much to him.

Griffin was a dedicated athlete, having played golf and football all throughout high school and continued his football career at Catholic University. He enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. But above all else, he was extremely passionate about history and politics. From mock trial & model UN in high school to student government clubs & organizations in college, Griffin was fully dedicated and he had found his calling. From the time he was 9 years old, he could recite each US President from 1st to most current in order.

This fund will be established in Griffin's name in order to give back to all of these things he loved. Organizations such as Memorial Sloan Kettering, Pomperaug Football/Pop-Warner, and other various organizations/student clubs will all be supported.
