Roberts Family

Tracey Acebo Roberts was diagnosed last month with an extremely rare form of stage 4 colon cancer which has metastasized to numerous areas of her body . She is currently fighting the odds and doing everything in her power to make it into the 5% of people who make remission. We are setting this page up to assist the family in the medical and various other costs, which seem insurmountable at times. Her husband, John, is a Houston Police Officer. During hurricane Harvey, he used his personal vehicle to get other fellow officers from Homicide out into the high waters in order to save citizens. John never once thought about the fact that he could lose his own vehicle in the process. The week following her diagnosis, Tracey returned to work at Sealy High School, because she could not bear being away from the kids she cares so deeply for.  This family is the kind of family who is always helping those around them. They constantly give of themselves expecting nothing in return. If you can please help us support them during this very difficult time it would be greatly appreciated.


We will be hosting a benefit for the family on Friday, November 3rd, 2017 from 11am-3pm at the Houston Police Officers Union located at 1600 State St. Houston, TX 77007.
