Quail Run Horse Center destroyed by an EF3 tornado

Hi, my name is Marjory and I'm fundraising on behalf of Quail Run Horse Center

Yesterday an EF 3 Tornado (if you are not a tornado expert this is 165 mph miles winds) landed at Quail Run Horse Center, in Elkhorn, NE during the Hunder/jumper A show.

Fortunately no human casualties were encountered, but some of the horse have been severely injured and are still being triaged and evaluated by vets at this time.

Some of the show barns, the indoor and a lot of the infrastructures have been destroyed.

The orgarnizers and some of the competitors lost everything and the clean up process is going to be daunting.

So we are working on establishing what the immediate needs are as we would like to help them.

Some of the horses got trapped in the stalls while others ended up loose and gone for hours.

I can not imagine the stress, the fear and the sense of helplessness that our friends went through.

Again at this time everybody, horses and humans are safe but this is a big mess and huge material loss for many of them.

Keep those guys in your thoughts and hug your horses and loved ones today. I will keep everybody updated on what is needed when I get a list.
