Supporting Australia's Bushfire Volunteers
The Astreya Community Group C.A.M.O ( Community of Astreya Military Outreach ) is working to fundraise for volunteers in Australia who are actively battling the effects of the Australian Bushfires.
This fundraiser is to support the Volunteer Rural Fire Services.
One of our team members, Jim Christenson, is a former volunteer with the Rural Fire Service in addition to being a United States Navy Veteran. These funds will go directly to support the Rural Fire Service who has suffered some devastating losses in both personnel and equipment. C.A.M.O has reached out to the RFS and enquired if any supplies were needed and how can we lend a hand to people in the bushfire affected areas, and their volunteers, which in many cases are the same people.
We've concluded the best way to make an immediate impact is to donate money.
This allows the Rural Fire Service to buy the things they need now and it also supports local businesses which have been impacted heavily.
All donations will be provided to The Trustee for NSW Rural Fire Service & Brigades Donations Fund. Any donation amount is appreciated and will help make a difference.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause which means so much to us.
